Stories from February
Hi! I hope you are all doing well! We are already in March, can you believe it? Every year, February just zooms by for me!
What’s been going on:
I’ve been keeping busy with creating beautiful Personalised Mini Piggy Sculptures of your piggies! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and sharing your guinea pig stories with me.
My husband “shared” his cold with me, so I’ve been a little under the weather and slower with the sculptures. We are both better now and the sunshine helps too!
My Sassy Ladies’ Corner:
If you follow me on social media, then you know that Lumi was diagnosed with active/symptomatic ovarian cyst(s). She displayed the common symptoms of belly hair-loss and crusty skin around the nipples. She was also rumble-strutting a lot, but we only adopted her 3 months ago, so behaviour wasn’t something we took in as a symptom.
She’s recovering well and was very hungry after the surgery which is the best thing. One of the cysts ruptured upon removal, so it seems like it was a good timing to have the surgery. Her ovaries were taken out too.
Juniper stayed with her pretty much all the way until her surgery, even joining in for some pre-op oxygen with Lumi.
New creations:
I’m going to start working on Autumn/Halloween Guinea Pigs this month. I have the design mostly finished in my head, so it’s time to transfer it into clay. Yes it’s early and we are only entering spring, and for once I’d like to at least try to be ahead (and advertising deadline for autumn is in July). I’m really excited to start working on this design!
I will be making time for it between Personalised Piggies’ orders 😊
March Meet the Maker is happening on social media, make sure you follow there to learn more about me and my business!
